I illustrated a sexual education handbook for the Kasiisi Project, crafting engaging visuals that empower parents in rural Uganda to have meaningful conversations about sex and development with their children. By replacing generic placeholder images with thoughtful, accessible designs, we not only enhanced the handbook's visual appeal but also addressed a vital community need, fostering open dialogue and education in an area where these discussions are often seen as taboo.
